STUDENT PROJECT:
Fourth year editorial design, Alberta University Of The Arts.
BRIEF:
Develop and design a niche magazine.
CHOICE:
A toilet reader, a coaster, a napkin…the swiss army knife of magazines.
INSIGHT:
Magazines have become overloaded with fluff and nonsense (which Kardashian are you?). Dudes need a magazine that has engaging, honest content with a no-nonsense, satirical feel. HOOGAF has a little bit of everything, from features on relevant issues to comedic rants, and oh…it even comes with toilet paper just in case you run out while reading.

PROMOTIONAL ELEMENTS
Why not play up on some advertising. Most importantly our feature ad, from the help of a handy new invention known as NeverWet. A product that coats nearly any material with water repelling nano technology, we thought it would be fun to create a waterproof page to test out without having to purchase the product first. But we went a step further and created water proof coasters for our local pubs. Why? You get a good read and a good laugh at a useless coaster.
